3.2 Changes to Maps

A completely updated guide/spreadsheet will most likely are available in a couple of days. For the time being, listed here are the important thing changes to mapping plus some initial impressions.

With more PoE Orbs, you will find that it's not as difficult as you think to get through these maps, you can buy some epic weapons to arm yourself. And when you get into Incursion league, you will still need to buy poe orbs for a better trip.

Major Changes:

- No more than 1-5 sextants does apply for your Atlas. The utmost quantity of sextants that may be applied is elevated by finishing certain Zana Atlas quests.

- Maps occupied by the Elder don't contain extra mobs.

- After you are two times as prone to obtain maps you haven't yet completed around the Atlas as maps you've.

- Gain Zana experience for finishing Zana's Atlas quests. Also, the Elder/Shaper storyline continues to be shaken up.

- Elder Orb acquired after collecting all Shaper memory fragments. Enables you to definitely upgrade any map around the Atlas to T16.

- Uber Elder, touted by GGG because the hardest boos hanging around.

- The Harm increase from the monster's rarity (Magic, Unique etc) has been created multiplicative along with other Damage modifiers. What this means is, for instance, that the map mod that increases a boss's damage is going to be considerably more noticeable. Most although not all causes of elevated damage (for example specific monster or map mods) have experienced their values adjusted to pay. Be cautious when fighting unique monsters, particularly in mod-heavy maps.

Minor Changes

- Improved layouts of Barrows, Armoury, Excavation, and Scriptorium.

- Vault boss   treasure piles drop less loot.

- Desert Spring boss has extra opponents during pursuit phase. Breakable Amphoras throughout the fight (possibly much like Vault loot piles?)

- Orchard boss room has labyrinth traps.

- Dying and Taxes boss nerf.

- Many divination cards have experienced their weighting and locations adjusted.

- Alterations in monster density in lots of maps.

Initial Impressions:

- Sextant blocking is dead. You may still block a few bad mods at the fee for less sextants put on the map you need to run. It doesn't mean sextants aren't still really effective. Nearly all sextant mods continue to be advantageous. Within the worst situation you need to reroll a mod occasionally as well as in the very best situation sextants tend to be less expensive than in the past leagues.

- Permanent Elder influence isn't dead, only into the spotlight which contains the Elder. It's still possible to produce a situation (i.e. a diamond ring) where Elder influence is permanent as removing that influence would make the Elder to become disconnected in one of his guardians

- Map mods happen to be re-balanced using the multiplicative changes to map modifiers. We do not know without a doubt what effect this can have yet however it sounds from GGG that particular map mods will end up considerably more harmful.

- The Elder Orb reveals some interesting options. For instance, while using Elder orb on Castle Ruins without any other T11, T12 or T13 maps unlocked implies that if your T11/12/13 would drop most commonly it is Spider Forest.

Path of Exile: Improve Exalted Orbs Drop Rate

One of the important reasons why ARPG like PoE attract players is that a lot of experience and rewards are enough to drive players to explore in the game. Many players are very interested in how to increase the drop rate of currency and equipment. Some people may be annoyed that PoE Exalted Orbs is not enough. After reading this article, think about it again. Exalted Orbs can drop randomly from mobs, chests, etc. from practically any zone; I don't believe they are limited to maps or other higher-tier zones. The simplest way of increasing your chances to see an Exalted Orb drop is to kill more mobs, open more chests, and turn over more rocks. You can also get Exalted orbs from certain Divination Cards, including Abandoned Wealth which drops in Arsenal and Vault maps, and The Hoarder which can drop in The Belly of the Beast level 1 and 2, The Harvest, and the Vault map. Farming those locations may ostensibly increase your chances. I suppose it's also possible to get...

Path of Exile: Ramble about Endurance Charges

In poe, every day, players from all over the world play in it. Many players choose to share their anecdotes and experiences in the game, so today I want to talk about a thing that is rarely noticed. Both Frenzy and Power charges have plentiful ways to keep them up. So much so that even skills that eat them such as Flicker Strike (Frenzy) or Cold Snap (Power) are easily able to manage them (Cold Snap not being in a good place atm has nothing to do with its charge requirements). But what of Endurance Charges? Well, as Tectonic Slam has recently showcased, the moment endurance charge generation is stressed it just quickly falls apart. Even Juggs struggle to keep T.Slam always at max coverage (and anyone who imagined a Chieftain could keep it up was quickly disabused of that idea). The other specific Endurance-consuming skill in the game - Vigilant Strike - is barely seen (sure it's namelock, but that's not the only reason it doesn't get used). What's more, the met...
