1.CRIT US (Unwavering Stance) MOM (Mind over Matter)! :D

This build prides itself on maximizing mobility and speed for fast and smooth clearing as well as having high DPS, survivability and versatility (6 jewel sockets).
PoB code for the ideal (and very much unachievable) character based on this build with BIS gear:
- 3.7 million DPS without concentrated effect, 4.6 million dps with
- 10k EHP

2.Gameplay Style

1. Cast Orb of Storms to generate power charges + initiate arcane surge buff
2. Shield Charge/Whirling blades into a pack of mobs
3. Use Abyssal Cry
4. Cast Dark Pact
5. Watch them explode
6. Rinse, repeat

3.Build Concepts

Layered Defense
i. High HP pool
ii. High unreserved mana pool for MoM
iii. Stun immunity
iv. Life Regen from skill tree and Mana Regen
v. Life + Mana leech from berserker ascendancy
vi. Warcries for instant 25% life and mana recovery
vii. Fortify

Offense
i. High HP pool = higher damage
ii. Crit-based = even higher damage

Speed and Mobility
Daggers are the weapon of choice here for high crit as well as the ability to use whirling blades/shield charge for added mobility.

4.To Vaal Pact, or not to Vaal Pact?

Vaal Pact with CI/ES was awesome (that's why it got nerfed). With life-based builds, it becomes tolerable, and no longer as fun. Not having the ability to regen life can get very annoying in lab running and general gameplay. You can still opt for Vaal Pact if you wish to do so, but I personally found it very unnecessary. Vaal Pact comes in extremely useful versus bosses because it enables you to facetank them, and without Vaal Pact the fights become much more challenging. To me however, bosses comprise maybe 20% of the content, and I much rather focus on having a smoother gameplay experience For the other 80%.

5.Why Warbringer and not Cloaked in Savagery?

Dark Pact already gives a ton of damage, enough for us to leech more than the 6% we expend per cast. As such, I didn't find it necessary to get Cloaked in Savagery, especially when its only useful during combat. My gameplay style for this build is all about recovery which is independent of flasks, and Warbringer's 25% instarecovery for both the life and mana pools suits me very well.

6.Stats

7.Ascendancy, Bandits and Pantheon

Berserker: Pain Reaver -> Crave the Slaughter -> Warbringer -> Aspect of Carnage
Bandits: kill all
Pantheon
Major: Soul of Solaris
Minor: Garukhan if you want movespeed, otherwise go for Gruthkul

8.Gem Links (feel free to change as per your preference)

Main Dark Pact - Added Chaos - Void Manip - Spell Echo - Controlled Destruct - Incr Crit Strikes
Weapon Whirling Blades/Shield Charge - Fortify - Faster Attacks
Shield Flame Dash, Abyssal Cry - Vaal Summon Skeletons (replace with incr. AoE later on)
Slot 1 Spell Totem - Wither - Faster Casting - Incr. Duration
Slot 2 CWDT - Immortal Call - Lightning Golem - Enfeeble/Temp Chains
Slot 3 Orb of Storms - Arcane Surge - PCoC - Incr. Duration
Note: do not level arcane surge such that the mana cost required to trigger it > orb of storms

9.Gearing advice

Dagger
Once you think its time to upgrade from your trusty divinarius, look for a dagger with all 4 stats in the following order of priority:
1. Spell Damage
2. Critical chance for spells
3. Attack speed (or open suffix slot to mastercraft this)
4. Global crit multiplier (or open suffix slot to mastercraft this)

Shield
1. Life
2. Spell Damage
3. Critical chance for spells
4. Resists
5. Open suffix slot for cast speed craft (not as important as the above)

Amulet
1. Spell Damage
2. Global crit multi
3. Life
4. Global crit chance (or open suffix slot to mastercraft this)

Diamond Rings
1. Life
2. Resists
3. Global crit multi or %chaos damage

Helm/Gloves
1. Life
2. Resists
3. Mana

Boots
1. Movement speed
2. Life
3. Resists
4. Mana

Belt
Belt of the Deceiver, cheap and good.

Jewel
My Jewel Shortlist

The BIS jewel would ideally have:
1. %life
2. + global crit multi
3. + crit multi for spells
4. %cast speed or %damage

I have only seen such a jewel once however, and it sold for way above what I could afford.

How to Open Your Poe Mystery Boxes?

How to Open Your Mystery Boxes After purchasing some Stormcaller Mystery Boxes, you can find them in your microtransaction stash in-game waiting to be unwrapped. Path of Exile: Improve Exalted Orbs Drop Rate

One of the important reasons why ARPG like PoE attract players is that a lot of experience and rewards are enough to drive players to explore in the game. Many players are very interested in how to increase the drop rate of currency and equipment. Some people may be annoyed that PoE Exalted Orbs is not enough. After reading this article, think about it again. Exalted Orbs can drop randomly from mobs, chests, etc. from practically any zone; I don't believe they are limited to maps or other higher-tier zones. The simplest way of increasing your chances to see an Exalted Orb drop is to kill more mobs, open more chests, and turn over more rocks. You can also get Exalted orbs from certain Divination Cards, including Abandoned Wealth which drops in Arsenal and Vault maps, and The Hoarder which can drop in The Belly of the Beast level 1 and 2, The Harvest, and the Vault map. Farming those locations may ostensibly increase your chances. I suppose it's also possible to get...

Path of Exile: Ramble about Endurance Charges

In poe, every day, players from all over the world play in it. Many players choose to share their anecdotes and experiences in the game, so today I want to talk about a thing that is rarely noticed. Both Frenzy and Power charges have plentiful ways to keep them up. So much so that even skills that eat them such as Flicker Strike (Frenzy) or Cold Snap (Power) are easily able to manage them (Cold Snap not being in a good place atm has nothing to do with its charge requirements). But what of Endurance Charges? Well, as Tectonic Slam has recently showcased, the moment endurance charge generation is stressed it just quickly falls apart. Even Juggs struggle to keep T.Slam always at max coverage (and anyone who imagined a Chieftain could keep it up was quickly disabused of that idea). The other specific Endurance-consuming skill in the game - Vigilant Strike - is barely seen (sure it's namelock, but that's not the only reason it doesn't get used). What's more, the met...
